Last Minute Reminders
1. Please be aware that NO COOLERS, NO OUTSIDE FOOD, NO PERSONAL CHAIRS and NO BALLOONS are allowed in the facility. This is a HUGE hassle every year because people insist on trying to bring coolers and food in anyway. People not cooperating with these rules will be refused admission or be ejected from the event. We do provide seating at each court.
2. There is NO Coaches' Meeting. Pools will be posted on the schedule page of our website about 48 hours before the start of the tournament.
3. Team check in for Crossroads will be on Friday, March 13 for Week 1 and Thursday, March 19 for Week 2. Check in times are from 3 pm to 9 pm at the Colorado Convention Center at 14th and Welton St. Enter through the 14th Street lobby (by California and 14th Street corner). Check in is in the A Lobby.
4. Be certain to bring your CORRECT printed check-in form. No hand written additions or deletions are acceptable, and there will be no printer available on-site.
5. Regular Team Check-in ends promptly at 9 pm. Late Team Check-in will be at 7:15 am on the morning of the tournament start, Saturday, March 14 for Week 1 and Friday, March 20 for Week 2 in the A Lobby.
6. Practice times are available on a FIRST COME-FIRST SERVED basis upon arrival - PROVIDED we have all the courts up. You must CHECK-IN and compete all registration items BEFORE practicing. Time slots of one hour will be available from 4 pm through 7:30 pm on Friday, March 13 for Week 1 and Thursday, March 19 for Week 2. All teams must leave the courts promptly by 8:30 pm. (We have never had more teams than we have space available for at practice times, so don't worry that you won't get a practice time.)
7. Doors to the facilities will open at 7 am on the tournament play days, but NOT BEFORE that time (Except on Dig Pink day of week 2, March 20th, but only for those in lots of pink!). If you arrive early, you will have to wait outside the building until 7 am. And it could be very cold.
8. March is usually a snowy month in Colorado, and the weather is usually chilly (40s during the day and 20s at night). We could have significant snow – we often do at least one day during Crossroads. If you are from a warmer climate, be sure you bring appropriate outdoor clothing. (It may also be 60 degrees one or more days with lots of sun - that's why we love Colorado!).

Courage Is Everywhere
So what is all the Dig Pink awareness for? The easy answer is that it's for breast cancer research. The truth is that it is for your mother, your wife, your friends, maybe even yourself. As you walk the crowded aisles at Crossroads, you will be surrounded by strangers that share your love of volleyball. But what else do you know about them? Some of those ordinary-looking people are survivors, people with amazing stories of faith, of struggle, and of courage.
Colorado Crossroads wants to recognize those members of our community to step forward and share their stories. More importantly, Crossroads wants to share their courage and learn from their example of how to live their lives completely and gracefully. To that end Crossroads will be recognizing cancer survivors in various ways during the event. Watch for information here about these heroes in our midst.
