TEAM REGISTRATION FEES:  Crossroads Junior National Qualifier divisions $765

PLAY LOCATION:  All play, all divisions, both weekends will be at the Colorado Convention Center in downtown Denver.  The address is 700 14th Street, Denver, CO 80202.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE:  All division entries will be accepted on a first come-first served basis until the space is filled until Monday, January 7, 2013.  After Monday, January 7, 2013, acceptance is at the tournament's discretion.

RESULTS DEADLINE:  All competition results for matches this season must be entered into TM2sign no later than Tuesday, February 19 for weekend 1 or no later than Tuesday, February 26 for weekend 2.

WHERE TO REGISTER:  All tournament team registration must be completed in TM2Sign.com.

HOTEL REGISTRATION:  All hotel reservations must be made with a Crossroads approved hotel through THS. Check here for more information.

QUALIFIER ETHICS AND ELIGIBILITY INFORMATION

"This event is part of the USA Volleyball National Championships. Participants, individual or team, may access normal "due process" channels should their eligibility to participate be in question. Procedures including appeal options are outlined in the Bylaws of USA Volleyball in Article XI. Bylaws can be found in the current issue of the USAV Official Guidebook. The Guidebook is available through Regional Commissioners or from the USA Volleyball national office, at the event Championship Desk and on the USAV web site.

QUALIFIER PLAY DIVISIONS AND BIDS

We are hosting teams in the 18 Open, 18 USA, 18 American, 17 Open, 17 USA, 17 American, 16 Open, 16 USA, 16 American, 15 Open, 15 USA, 15 American, 14 Open, 14 USA, 14 American, 13 USA, 13 American, 12 National, and 12 American in the Junior National Qualifier divisions.

Teams may choose which division - Open, National (12s only), USA, or American - in their age that they want to enter.  Open divisions tend to be stronger teams and the field size tends to be smaller.

Below are the number of teams we can accommodate in each qualifier division and the number of bids available for that number of teams. Open division entrants are playing to win bids to the Open division of GJNC. National division (12s only) are playing to win a bid to the National division of GJNC (and, depending on certain criteria, an American bid). USA division entrants are playing to win a bid to the USA division of GJNC. American division entrants are playing to win a bid to the American division of GJNC.

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT, IN OUR SOLE DISCRETION, to adjust (including to combine) divisions after the deadline date DEPENDING ON THE NUMBER OF APPLICATIONS RECEIVED. Adjustment COULD affect the number of bids available in a division.

*USA Volleyball may award an additional bid to some USA divisions of some qualifiers on Wednesday, February 27.
** Depending on the sizes of the 12 National and 12 American divisions, the divisions may be combined but a National bid and an American bid may still be available. (See the USAV Qualifier Manual for greater detail.)

PENALTIES FOR NOT USING A QUALIFIER BID

There are serious penalties for teams, clubs, coaches and players on teams that win a bid at a Qualifier and then don't use the bid to play at the Junior Olympic Championships. (See the Qualifier Manual for particulars.)

COACH CERTIFICATION

For all qualifier divisions, ALL coaches on the roster must have IMPACT or higher certification. A minimum of one coach must be on the bench during competition and with the team at all times during officiating. (See the Qualifier Manual for particulars.)
